John Cullen

John is an extremely experienced choral conductor. He is a former organ scholar of Christ's College, Cambridge and has been Director of Music for many years in one of England's leading independent schools. He is now retired and works with a variety of choirs as well as composing music.

He has created a large number of descants over the years, each one reflecting the style of the tune as well as the words. Many use contrapuntal techniques and all contain very imaginitive harmonisations. This website is designed to allow John to share his work with others.
